What happens at a first appointment

Most people want to know whether it hurts and what to expect. We explain each step before we start and work at a calm pace.

  1. Step 1

    History and ear check

We review symptoms, hearing aid use, and relevant ear history before examining both ears.

  2. Step 2

    Microsuction treatment

Wax is removed under direct view with specialist lighting. The sound can be loud, but most people tolerate it well.

  3. Step 3

    Review and aftercare

We explain the result, what to expect over the next day, and simple steps to reduce repeat blockage.

Who usually books this service
